Mobile Food Pantry

It is clear from local data and national research that access to healthy food is a significant challenge for most low-income families. Hilltop’s mobile pantry will schedule delivery of fresh and non-perishable food supplies to children, their families, and senior citizens living in Valparaiso, making sure all families have access to healthy food.

Hilltop's Bookmobile

The focus of Hilltop's Bookmobile is to provide gently used books to children in the community who may not have access to those materials. Hilltop will take the Bookmobile out, along side our mobile pantry, to neighborhoods within the community.  The Bookmobile offers books to children starting at 6 months to over 10 years of age!

Help make a difference!

Volunteers from churches and civic groups work with Valparaiso University Work-Study students to staff the Hilltop Food Pantry.  Local businesses and community groups organize food collections to benefit Hilltop.  Without the dedication and hard work of these priceless individuals, Valpo families in need would not receive the food they need.  You will see lots of activity about the food pantry on Hilltop’s Facebook page here.

  • If you are interested in volunteering,
  • If you want to tour Hilltop’s pantry,
